[LINK] is a Mentorship Program in Artistic Practice, aiming to connect curious artists from different fields with persons within the artistic team (scenographer, sound designer, light designer, costume designer) working with Jefta van Dinther for the duration of a creative process of one production. During this time a unique paid opportunity will be granted to an emerging artist, whereby a member of the artistic team will be assigned a collaborator for which to enter into a mentorship relationship, under supervision of dramaturg Maja Zimmermann and Jefta van Dinther. The mentee can be an advanced student, a professional or an autodidact who has experience within the field or an adjacent field. Utilising the production is seen here as a valuable opportunity for exchange with other actors in the field. [LINK] takes shape through several encounters between the mentor and mentee, as well as with the rest of the artistic team of the production and the supervisor, allowing for intellectual capital to flow in both directions. The mentee is thereby in a continuous exchange with the mentor and the rest of the team throughout the production, from the initiation of an idea to the final performance. The process will centre both around the artistic materials of the production at hand in the creative process, as well as the artistic materials and interests of the mentee.
