About Diorama
Diorama is the central working and rehearsal space for Jefta van Dinther and his company, functioning as the site for conception, research and production of his artistic work. In addition Diorama offers curated outreach formats with collaborative opportunities for other practitioners. They include [LINK] Mentorship, [NODE] Open Studio, [VOLTA] Open Class, [MENSA] events and [SITU] Coworking and Residency.
The formats at Diorama aim to address issues of access and scarcity of an affordable, sustainable and reactive infrastructure for artists of the independent dance scene and its adjacent disciplines.The studio’s agendas work towards generating new approaches and opportunities in artistic practice by facilitating exchange within an evolving industry. With a focus on open resources in education, research and production for local artists, audiences and associated networks, Diorama is an invaluable platform within Berlin for many affiliates.
